37-Year-Old Aaron Rodgers Has Little to Say About His Future With the Packers

37-Year-Old Aaron Rodgers Unfortunately Has Little to Say About His Future With the Packers

Tuesday’s golf event “The Match” showcased quite a lot, including Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, battling Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady on the course. While this golf game was certainly exciting, it lacked one thing: information about Rodgers’ future with his football team, the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers quarterback teamed up with the American golfer Bryson DeChambeau, while Brady partnered with Phil Mickelson. Although Rodgers and DeChambeau won the game and left fans realizing that he was a great golfer, they still have unanswered questions following the Packers quarterback stating that he doesn’t wish to return to the Wisconsin-based football team.

The 37-year-old player did not partake in Packers offseason activities after ESPN reported that he said he didn’t want to return to the team. He has yet to make a public statement regarding this proclamation, although reporters certainly tried to get him to bite during Tuesday’s game.

Aaron Rodgers remains allusive!

The TNT broadcast illustrates a handful of different ways to ask Rodgers whether or not he has a future with Green Bay. “Any idea who’s going to be there? Anybody’s going to be quarterback in the number twelve jersey?” asks one of the reporters.

Rodgers slyly lets out a smile, only to offer the unhelpful information, “Yeah, I don’t know. We’ll see.”

Not only did reporters try to get him to spill the beans about his relationship with Green Bay, but fellow quarterback, Brady, egged him on. The Ringer stated that Brady referenced his associate as the leader of the Packers, but then jokingly added an “I think” to the statement.

Additionally, that was not the end of Brady making commentary about Rodgers’ future with Green Bay. In a virtual Jeopardy match, Brady stated, “He’s unhappy with his boss and has no options. Who is Aaron Rodgers?”

Responding with few emotions written on his face, Rodgers retaliated with, “That’s a projection, Tom. I never said I’m unhappy with my boss.” Brady added, “I said it not you.”

Rodgers has led his team to a Super Bowl victory, but whether or not he will have a future opportunity to do so is unknown. With NFL training starting up within the next few weeks, it is certainly leaving fans puzzled, and Rodgers will not budge with answers. After being with the Packers for over 15 years, the question of whether or not Aaron Rodgers will follow that trend remains unsolved.
