A 4-Year-Old Boy Just Shocked His Family After He Gets His First Hole in One
Picture this, you’re standing on a golf course, it’s a par 3 and you’re four years old. How many strokes do you think it would take you to complete it?
Well if you’re Rocco Figaretti, it only takes just a single stroke. While golfing with his dad, Mario, and his uncle, Rocco achieved his first hole in one at just 1,468 days old.
According to WTOV, Rocco has been golfing since he was three and he absolutely loves the sport. And if this video you’re about the watch proves anything, he’s really good at it.
“HOLE IN ONE!!!! Hole #1 at Oglebay’s Par three-course,” Mario wrote on Facebook. “Rocco = 4yrs old. 8/21/20 He practices all the time In the yard. To say I’m proud would be an understatement!” In fact, as the video showed, Rocco himself didn’t even believe it himself.
Instead of immediately celebrating the big achievement, Rocco had to run all the way down to the cup to see it for himself. It’s then you hear the little guy saying, “I actually did it,” once he was standing on the green.
And get this, this was the first time Rocco ever played on a regulation course.
“He swings right-handed with a left-handed grip and it works for him, so I don’t think we’re going to switch it,” Mario told WTOV. “It’s just been really fun watching him develop a love for the game because he really does spend a lot of time out here in the year hitting golf balls.”
Now, Mario hopes that Rocco’s love for the sport of golf continues and it only gets better from here. And if that is the case, PGA Tour, here Rocco comes.
