‘Baby Girl Coming June 2021’: Caroline Wozniacki And David Lee Expecting!
Married couple Caroline Wozniacki and David Lee have an excitement announcement to share with the world.
“We are so thrilled to welcome a baby girl in June!!! ❤️,” Lee excitedly announced in an Instagram post.
“We can’t wait to welcome our baby girl in June! 👨👩👧❤️” Wozniacki excitedly also announced in an Instagram post.
The married couple is well-versed in athletics, you could say. You may know Lee from his time with the Warriors when Steph Curry was coming on the scene in his first years in the league. Lee played 13 solid seasons in the NBA with the Knicks, Warriors, Spurs, Celtics, and Mavericks. The forward averaged 13.5 points and 8.8 rebounds in his career. Lee’s best overall scoring season was in 2009-10 when he averaged 20.2 points a game.
That’s fitting, as her wife also just so happened to have a good year in her profession in 2010.
The WTA Tour describes Wozniacki’s 2010 season as her “first No.1 season, highlighted by WTA-leading six titles and 62 match wins; went 30-13 between January and July”. She then had her “second No.1 season” in 2011 per the WTA Tour and continued to finish in the Top 10 in consecutive years. Wozniacki won 30 pro tennis singles matches in her career, including the 2018 Australian Open, and finished in the top 5 in 2017 and 2018.
“I am so proud to have you as my wife!” Lee said on their wedding anniversary in 2020. “No matter what life throws our way I always have your back, I love you so much! ❤️👫.”
Could the little one be a pro tennis or basketball player? Will she be a two-sport athlete? Only time will tell. In the meantime, the couple is just excited to be expecting and we are celebrating your announcement right with you!
So are all these fellow NBA players and a lot more people:
“Yeahhhhhhhh congrats big bro! 💪🏽🙏🏽” Bradley Beal said.
