As many people are aware, former NFL quarterbacks, Peyton Manning and his younger brother Eli, now commentate on NFL games every Monday night.
Fans nationwide can tune in to watch the brothers goof off and discuss football, but last week’s episode of the Manningcast was taken to another level. Considering the month-long hiatus that is to come following the regular season, the brother’s decision to go all out during their latest episode.
Bringing guests on such as Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, and even Grammy-nominated recording artist Snoop Dogg, the entire episode was a memorable moment.
One of the highlights happened to be when recently turned 41-year-old Eli Manning self-identified himself as the “prettier” Manning brother.
As Roger Goodell was preparing to descend from the episode and the brothers were giving him thanks, Peyton could be seen having makeup applied to his face. This of course prompted the NFL commissioner to question why only the eldest brother was in makeup.

“Why is there only one guy who gets makeup on this set?” Goodell questioned, directing the question at Peyton. Of course, not being able to repress his brotherly instincts, Eli responded with a zinger. The former New York Giants quarterback then insinuated that his older brother needed assistance in the look department when he commented, “[because] I’m pretty. I’m naturally pretty.”
However, Eli was not only in the spotlight that night for his charm and good looks, but because it was his 41st birthday. The former NFL star’s birthday happened to fall on the night of the Browns vs. Steelers game, and hip hop legend Snoop Dogg made it a point to celebrate…
What did Snoop Dogg gift Eli Manning?
The 17-Grammy-nominated rapper showed up on the live stream with a special gift for the retired athlete: a Death Row Records gold chain. Moth Manning brothers erupted into laughter when the gift was presented, but Snoop was insistent that he wear it.
“Eli, I would like to present to you this Death Row chain for being so hip-hop and being so hip,” Snoop Dogg told the younger brother. He added the sentiments, “That is your’s, baby, when I see you and put that around your neck. Happy 41st birthday Eli.”
Peyton then said to look out for the chain’s appearance in the playoff games. Needless to say, it was a very happy birthday for Eli Manning!
