Alex Rodriguez Said Jennifer Lopez Was More Nervous For US Presidential Inauguration Performance Than The Super Bowl And New Year’s Eve Performances
It’s been evident the support Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez have shown each other in their relationship. And that support continues through 2021 and a Presidential Inauguration.
Lopez has been all over this past year, as her fiancé points out:
“It’s been such a crazy year for her, so amazing, so many blessings,” Rodriguez said on The Tonight Show as transcribed by People. “But to think in a span of 12 months, she’s done the Super Bowl, New Year’s [Eve]and now the inaugural, it’s unbelievable…And what’s interesting is she’s most nervous about Washington, D.C. because of the responsibility.”
Lopez sung “This is Your Land” and “America The Beautiful”.
Without further ado, here’s J-Lo’s Presidential Inauguration performance:
And A-Rod was right there to be with her throughout the day with his arm around his boo, showing his support.
And J-Lo showed love to her fiancé while he was doing his work in his “booth debut” as a MLB analyst per the MLB along with another time surprising him for his birthday:
If you’d like to sing along with J-Lo, here’s the lyrics!
“America The Beautiful” by Katharine Lee Bates composed by church organist and choirmaster Samuel A. Ward per Ballad of America:
“O beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain
For purple mountain majesties, above the fruited plain
America, America, God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea”
“This is Your Land” by Woody Guthrie per MusicxMatch:
“This land is your land and this land is my land
From California to the New York island
From the redwood forest to the Gulf Stream waters
This land was made for you and me”
