University of Texas wide receiver, Collin Johnson, was taken during the 165th pick of the 2020 draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Playing in the National Football League, like his father Johnnie Johnson, was a dream come true.
And now he is celebrating with his dream girl.

On June 26, Johnson took to Instagram to share the news that he and his high school sweetheart will one day be husband and wife after is now-fianceé, Sara Machado, accepted his proposal. The excited athlete also shared a video of how he popped the question.
As he wrote in the caption, the swing Sara is seen on “has been our little getaway spot, so I figured it would be the perfect place to pop the question!” And he was right.
However, the video of the proposal—although incredibly sweet—doesn’t even come close to the TikTok video he made about the years they’ve already spent together.
The video shows them from the beginning of their relationship which started in high school, to them following each other to the University of Texas, to Sara sitting by Johnson’s side as he got drafted into the NFL. Take a look:

Seriously, how sweet is this?!
Johnson is also celebrating getting his first Jaguars jersey as well. In a video showing him putting his uniform on for the first time, he was all smiles.

“Putting on my jersey for the first time,” he wrote. “Anyone else going to get one?” As the video reveals, he will be sporting the number 19 whenever the NFL decided to start the season.
So now that it has been over a year since the couple got engaged, what have Collin and Sara been up to? Well, most recently they’ve been gearing up for the newest NFL season that is set to start in just a couple of weeks.
