‘Let’s Continue To Pray For A Speedy Recovery For Karl-Anthony Towns’: Jordyn Woods Asks For Prayer For Her Boyfriend
It was such a rough year in 2020 for Karl-Anthony Towns. So rough, in fact, he termed it “the toughest year of (his) life“.
And to make matters even more difficult, this year has started off with its share of challenges for Towns and his family.

“Prior to (January 15’s) game, I received yet another awful call that I tested positive for COVID,” Towns said in a statement on Twitter. “I will immediately isolate and follow every protocol. I pray every day that this nightmare of a virus will subside and I beg everyone to continue to take it seriously by taking all of the necessary precautions.”
Towns’ girlfriend, Jordyn Woods (according to People), is wanting everyone to pray for her boyfriend.
“Thank you for all of the support and prayers, my family and I have all been tested and the results came back negative…” Woods said in a Tweet. “Let’s continue to pray for a speedy recovery for @KarlTowns“.
People are responding with prayers for KAT:
“It breaks my heart that my family, and particularly my father and sister continue to suffer from the anxiety that comes along with this diagnosis as we know all too well what the end result could be,” Towns also said in the statement announcing he ‘tested positive for COVID’. “To my niece and nephew, Jolani and Max, I promise you I will not end up in a box next to grandma and I will beat this.”
As Towns is recovering, he’s still showing love to his girlfriend, literally, as People reports he “gift(ed) Woods (a) ‘Love’ sweatshirt”.
We hope Towns does indeed have a speedy and healthy recovery!
