Kelly Stafford, the wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback, has notified the public that she will not be seen at games any time soon.

After the week 10 game against the San Francisco 49ers, the quarterback’s wife has plans to take a hiatus from games after she was seen throwing pretzels at opposing fans. When she was called out on Instagram for her odd behavior at Levi Stadium, she responded that “I’m an idiot. He was saying a bunch of things that were aggressive towards our crew but zero excuses.”

However, she also recently discussed the incident on an episode of her podcast “The Morning After”. She explained that when she threw the twisted dough snack at the fan’s face, she immediately apologized and offered to buy the group food and drinks.

“I’m human, I make mistakes, and I own up to them. I don’t f—ing hide from them, that’s not me,” Stafford stated during the podcast. She then said she was escorted out of the game, which was fine since the Rams lost 31-20.

She went on to detail the fact that she can make snap decisions without fully thinking out the consequences of her outcomes. She shared, “I’ve always been taught, I wear my heart on my sleeve so I do stuff probably in a hot second, but I also realize in a hot second, not the best, and I go up and I apologize.”

Mrs. Stafford then concluded that the best course of action following her moment of embarrassment is to remove herself from attending non-home games. She commented, “What I will change is that I won’t go to away games. You continue to say things, I’m going to have a very hard time holding my tongue.”

Matthew Stafford, leader of the Rams, found the entire situation humorous and even had a self-deprecating approach to the whole thing. Poking fun at his own errors from that night, his wife reported that, “He said, ‘Well, I wish I was as accurate as you were, but I guess only one person in the family was accurate that night.'”
