LaMelo Ball Answers Question On Who Would Win One-On-One Game: LaVar Ball Or Michael Jordan
With the third pick in the 2020 NBA virtual Draft, the Charlotte Hornets and owner Michael Jordan selected LaMelo Ball.
Ball is a little brother of Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball and their dad is LaVar Ball.
In regards to his pops, LaVar Ball has said he could beat Michael Jordan.
You heard that right, LaMelo’s dad 1-on-1 against whom many consider the greatest basketball player of all time in Air Jordan.
I’ll just leave this here because actions speak louder than words:
LaMelo was asked about his dad and the potential 1-on-1 matchup with now his employer.
“I don’t think it’s going to happen and we know how it would turn out, to be honest,” Ball said in an introductory press conference. “But I mean that is my pops and that’s my boss so I’m on both sides now.”
Ball said he wants to work on all aspects of his game to be an “all-around player”.
If this matchup ever happens, we’ll see who the all-around 1-on-1 player is between LaVar Ball and Jordan.
LaVar Ball said recently to TMZ Sports that the only way the 1-on-1 matchup will happen between him and MJ will be if there is a minimum $200-million pay-per-view.
“If it’s a dollar short, we’re not playing…whenever they come with 200-million, I’ll be ready to put my shoes back on and give you one more game for the Big Baller Brand,” Ball said.
Ball even mentioned having the game on top of the Empire State Building, joking that they might have to build a basketball hoop up there. Or you never know, that may be serious and not a joke. We’ll just have to wait to find out.
