TV personality Larsa Pippen recently addressed the rumors that she and Marcus Jordan are in a relationship. According to Pippen herself, they are just friends.
During an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the host kept pressing about the status of their relationship. However, the 48-year-old firmly stated that she is only friends with the retired college basketball player. “We’re friends,” she said with a smile.
Considering her history with her ex-husband, NBA star Scottie Pippen, Cohen was curious about whether or not her ex would be jealous of her friendship with Jordan, to which she denied this accusation. Since they are only friends, there is no reason for jealousy. In addition, she addressed the family NBA feud between Pippen and Jordan.
“I think a lot of people think that our families were really close and intertwined, and they really weren’t. Like I never really knew Marcus’ mom or them; I just recently met them a couple of years ago,” she clarified.
However, Larsa seems ready to move on with her life following her divorce from the 57-year-old retired basketball player. Initially marrying in 1997, their divorce was finalized on December 15, 2021, after three years of separation. And, the TV star shared that her relationship with the retired athlete was a very rocky one.

“I was traumatized,” Pippen said of her ex-husband at the time of the divorce finalization. “If he doesn’t get his way, he punishes me. He’s like The Punisher… This is like his last piece of control that he’s got over me and the kids. He’s only punishing me because I’m making him sell the house.”
As for dating someone new, the mother has made sure to set her standards high because of the way she’s been treated in the past. In fact, she has refused to settle for anything less than amazing. “I would expect so much,” she explained. “I would expect a guy to do so much for me because that’s what I’ve had. If you’re not going to do a whole bunch of things for me, then why would I want to be with you? I’d rather be alone.”
