She continued her statement and elaborated on how her family has coped with the accident. She explained, “You do the best that you can. [For] my little sisters [we’re] trying to keep that memory for them. And also just trying to remember to live out every day the way they would.”

Vanessa Bryant, Natalia’s mom, even added in her own tips, “This pain is unimaginable [but] you just have to get up and push forward. Lying in bed crying isn’t going to change the fact that my family will never be the same again. But getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make the day better for my girls and for me. So that’s what I do.”

Natalia Bryant is a freshman at the Univeristy of California and has recently signed her first modeling contract. Vanessa has consistently shared how amazed she is by her daughter’s strength to juggle all her responsibilities on top of grieving.

Vanessa shared in an interview with PEOPLE, “On top of her own grief, she has balanced her senior year of high school, applying to colleges, nurturing her sisters, and just recently signing her own modeling contract with IMG.”

Within her busy life, Natalia also added that she doesn’t think there is any room for dating. “I don’t want to remember high school as dating some guy that I’m most likely going to be hating next [year]. … Everybody’s had crushes. [But] No. No room for dating,” Natalia offered, opening up about some of the more personal details of her life.
