Ndamukong Suh And Wife, Katya, Announce They Are Having Twins: ‘We’re Adding…Two New Team Members To Our Starting Lineup’

Ndamukong Suh is a force to be reckoned with on the NFL field as a Tampa Bay Bucs defensive tackle. Off the field, he describes himself as a “luminary (with an) aptitude for learning”, and one who enjoys engineering. Suh is also a husband and now plans on being a father!

Suh got married in 2020 to Katya and they both just recently had a HUGE announcement:

“We’re adding not one, but TWO new team members to our starting lineup!” Sun said in an Instagram post. “(Katya) and I are so excited to announce we are having twins!👶🏽👶🏽🍼”

Congrats to the Suh’s! At The Buzzer is celebrating this very special season of your life.

“We appreciate all the love and support from our families during this crazy time,” Ndamukong and Katya both said in separate posts.

The Suh’s teamed up with People to break the news.

“Both of our families were very surprised and excited,” Katya told People exclusively. “We FaceTimed them as they opened boxes with T-shirts that told them they would be becoming grandparents, aunts or great-grandparents. There was a lot of dancing, jumping up and down and, of course, tears of joy from both sides!”

People also reports that “Ndamukong and Katya met while at school at the University of Nebraska in 2009 and maintained a close relationship and friendship from there…After becoming engaged in spring 2019, the pair tied the knot in May in what Katya calls a ‘not-so-traditional COVID sweatpants-and-hoodie Zoom call wedding.'”

Even though 2020 has had its fair share of adversity, there is still good happening in this world. Bright spots to celebrate as well take the time to count our blessings. It looks like the Suh’s are counting theirs, getting both married and pregnant all in 2020.

Much respect to the Suh’s as they have this special announcement. Just as Ndamukong said: “Respect is a lot more important, and a lot greater, than popularity.” Something I’m sure he’ll bestow upon and teach his kids.

Not just one, but two of them. The Suh’s have been twinning and now they’ll have literal twins to celebrate life together. One little step, or two, at a time.
