On April 23rd, 2020, during the first ever virtual draft, the Green Bay Packers traded their 30th overall pick alongside a fourth round pick to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for the 26th pick of the draft. The Packers then proceeded to shock the NFL and take Utah State quarterback, Jordan Love.

The Giants should be commended for their success in this year’s draft. After embarrassing themselves last year by drafting Daniel Jones at the sixth pick when he could have fallen until at least the end of the first round, the Giants did a fantastic job at drafting players at a great value.
Thursday night, the first round of the NFL Draft kicked off and it lived up to the hype. Aaron Rodgers may have watched the draft tonight hoping for the help of a new wide receiver or two. Unfortunately for Rodgers, instead of Green Bay drafting Rodgers his help, they drafted his replacement. What goes around comes around, as these were the exact circumstances back in the 2005 draft when Aaron Rodgers was drafted to the Green Bay Packers in the first round to eventually replace Brett Favre.
