NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. has announced that he and his personal trainer girlfriend Lauren Wood are expecting their first child together.
The news was shared through simple, but effective means. Woods, who is additionally a model alongside her career in fitness, posted a set of photographs to Instagram. With the basketball star wrapped around her maternal belly, the message seemed evidently clear that the couple is expecting a baby.
The pictures depicted the couple in black and white, happy smiles plastered on their faces. In the caption, Woods wrote, “ilyilyily,” which stands for “I love you.” The comments have been flooded with congratulatory statements from friends of the couple and the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver even commented, “Can’t wait baby!”
Beckham Jr. and Woods have kept their relationship relatively secret, but they were first seen together in 2019 at the football player’s birthday party. In addition, they appeared side by side during the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in 2020, which seemed to confirm the nature of their relationship.

On the 29th birthday of Beckham Jr., Wood posted a wonderful montage of the two of them with the caption, “Happy birthday @obj … u continue to make this experience here on Earth, incredible. 29 years of greatness & many more.”
In response, the football player stated, “I LOVE U I LOVE U I LOVE U!!! 1000x over! I can’t wait for this journey! I got u, baby, got us no question.”
“Thru thick and thin every day with u has been a blessing. I know that God has placed you in my life for a special reason, and excited about that adventure to find out why,” Beckham Jr. also said in the caption of an Instagram post he shared that depicted him and Woods.
He additionally included the sentiments, “My favorite thing about us is US and no one or anything in this world can come between that. Happy glow day to my hipbone! I love u YUMI! Time to elevate!! Time to elevate!! Ps…ur getting old asf. “
