Following the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and his family celebrated by going to the happiest place on Earth: Disneyland!
The 27-year-old NFL star and his wife Brittany welcomed their second child, Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III, in November 2022 and withheld from posting pictures of their little one’s face. However, taking home a Super Bowl championship title seemed as good a time as any to show fans what Bronze looks like.
Taking to Instagram, the couple posted a photo of their growing family enjoying a day at the California-based amusement park. “Welcome to the happiest place on earth, Bronze and Sterling,” the Mahomes wrote in the caption of their social media post.
Since Bronze was welcomed into the family, the Kansas City quarterback has been open with how everyone is adjusting to the new addition. When he appeared on The Drive on Audacy’s 610 Sports Radio (Kansas City), he revealed how his daughter is taking to her role as a big sister.

“She wants to hold him, and take care of him, and everything like that,” the father shared. “She wants to play all day, and we have to tell her to be gentle. And we have to tell her to don’t throw him like a toy baby. That’s a real baby you got there.”
Mahomes opened up about the one challenge Sterling is facing, which is having to share Brittany with her little brother. “I think the only thing that she hasn’t figured out yet is why mom has someone else that’s not her she’s holding all the time, so she’s figuring that part out, but other than that she loves her little brother,” he explained.
Brittany Mahomes also reported excellent behavior from her daughter following giving brith to Bronze. On Instagram, she dedicated an entire post to Sterling and celebrated how well she adjusted to the newest family addition. “She loves her brother so much & has been just the best little helper,” the mother of two wrote.
“I felt like so many people were trying to put this negative idea of how much she was gonna hate not being the only child into my head & it was kind of starting to upset me,” Brittany continued. “If you are a new mom, or about to become a mama of multiple kiddos, just know everyone’s story is different & don’t let other people’s ideas get to you!”
