Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady recently revealed that he still watches his former team, the New England Patriots, play every single week.

During Monday’s episode of his Sirius XM show Let’s Go!, the NFL legend opened up about how he chooses to relax. According to the quarterback himself, keeping tabs on his former team is all a part of the process. “I just watch that team every week, and I’m impressed with how they prepare and the accountability that that organization has had,” Brady said of the Patriots.

Continuing, the former New England quarterback spoke very highly of Bill Belichick, his ex-coach and current leader of the team. Brady shared that he and Belichick “had 20 years together of elite football experience that I wouldn’t have traded for anything in the world.”

“I know he’s a great competitor. What an amazing coach he is, and how he prepares the team to win, and he’s just done it year in and year out,” the football star continued, discussing his former coach’s possible ability to break one of the most difficult NFL records of all time. “The fact that he’s 22 wins away from [passing Don Shula for first in all-time NFL head coaching wins].”

He added the sentiments,” I have no doubt he’s gonna get it.”

However, Brady’s complimentary statement comes after Belichick took notice of the quarterback’s own monumentally NFL record: he most recently surpassed 100,000 passing yards.

“That’s a tremendous accomplishment by Tom and a real credit to everything about him,” the New England Patriots coach stated, speaking of his former prodigy quarterback. “His longevity, his accuracy, consistency. Just doing so many things right in the passing game for so long.”

“It’s a phenomenal accomplishment. I’m really happy for him. Nobody deserves it more than he does. He’s worked extremely hard and is just very good at what he does,” Belichick added. “That’s an amazing stat. I don’t even know how far 100,000 yards is. It must be a long way. I don’t know how many miles. I have no idea. But that’s a great accomplishment.”

Without a doubt, these two NFL legends have nothing respect for one another and wish each other luck in all future endeavors.
