Former Sacramento Kings player and ex-partner of Khloé Kardashian, Tristan Thompson, revealed the real reason why he had a fan ejected from a game in late November of last year.
On November 28th, 2021, the Sacramento Kings were facing off against the Memphis Grizzlies when a fan in the crowd began making commentary directed at the mother of Thompson’s child, Khloe Kardashian. After the fan’s heckling became a distraction, the basketball player had the person removed from the game. On a recent episode of Hulu’s series, The Kardashians, the pro-athlete revealed this information to Khloe.
“It was directed at you,” Thompson said to his ex, referencing the heckling that occurred while he was still with the Kings. Confused by this vague statement, Kardashian encouraged him to explain in depth what the crowd member said. Hesitantly, the NBA star explained that the fan-made commentary about Khloe dating a shocking number of basketball players and referred to Tristan as “just the next one.”

However, the Kardashian sister was quick to dismiss this statement. Unbothered and brushing off the drama, she responded, “OK, he called me a wh–e, and said I date basketball players. I’ve had six boyfriends; three of them have been in the NBA. Thank you. How is that my problem?”

With the entire world keeping a close watch on her family, she is used to ignoring the haters with grace. This circumstance was just another test of patience. Instead, she chooses to focus on the important things, such as raising her daughter. Although the two are no longer together, Thompson and Kardashian remain amicable in order to properly co-parent their four-year-old daughter, True.
Bringing things back to the initial event, many questioned why Thompson would throw a fan out of the game, even if the person was being disrespectful towards his ex. Given that the pair remain close, the NBA player had no problem defending the mother of his child, and while tossing the fan out, he stated, “You’re not gonna keep talking about my family like that.”
Khloe had no issue with this action, either. In fact, she expressed that Thompson’s behavior should be a standard procedure for disrespect. She shared the sentiments, “That’s just how everyone should be. You just are supposed to protect your family.”
