‘Amazing Talent…Better Human Being, Husband And Father’: WWE Community Remembering, Honoring The Life Of Jon Huber AKA ‘Brodie Lee’
Family, friends, loved ones, the WWE community, and so many more are mourning the loss of professional wrestler Jon Huber aka “Brodie Lee” and “Luke Harper“.
Huber’s wife, Manda Huber, announced this tragedy in a touching post on December 26, honoring and remembering her late husband:
“My best friend died today,” Huber said in the post. “I never wanted to write out those words. My heart is broken. The world saw him as the amazing @brodielee (fka Luke Harper) but he was my best friend, my husband, and the greatest father you would ever meet. No words can express the love I feel or how broken I am right now. He passed surrounded by love ones after a hard fought battle with a non Covid related lung issue. The @mayoclinic is literally the best team of doctors and nurses in the world who surrounded me with constant love.”Manda Huber, Instagram post
Huber also went on to give a shoutout to the All Elite Wrestling team, mentioning specific people on the team along with saying “and the rest of the team at AEW have helped keep me standing and pick up all the broken pieces”.
“I can’t express my love and admiration for the way @allelitewrestling has treated not only my husband but myself and my kids…I’ve been surrounded by so much love and incredible people I can’t tag them all but they know who they are and I don’t think they will ever know how thankful I am for them,” Manda Huber said.
All Elite Wrestling also paid tribute to Huber:
And the WWE community remembers their friend:
According to FOX Sports, “Huber began his wrestling career on the indies in 2003 as Brodie Lee. In 2012, he signed with WWE and became Luke Harper in the company’s development system. The wrestler eventually debuted in NXT alongside Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan as a member of The Wyatt Family, then after moving to the main roster they become one of WWE’s most popular factions. During his time with WWE, Harper had one run with the Intercontinental Championship and two with the SmackDown Tag Team titles.”
The professional wrestling world is remembering Huber and many are sending prayers up to the family and loved ones of Huber. Many of these tweets were complied by Fox Sports:
