Family Fantasy Football Night: For All the Sports-Obsessed Families

As a parent and as a sports fan, it’s often the dream that your kids grow up to be sports fans too. And while it’s important to let them choose their own path, it never hurts to help guide your kids in certain directions. So let this family Fantasy Football night help!

So if you’re a football fan, and hope your kids become fans of football too, you have to keep reading. We talked with influencer and mom of two, Charlene, about how she and her husband created a super fun family game night centered around Fantasy Football!

Family Fantasy Football Night: For All the Sports-Obsessed Families

It was a night filled with friendly competition, delicious snacks, and most importantly family memories that will never forget. So if you’re looking to do something similar with your own sports-loving family, here is how Charlene set the whole night up.

First, get your devices ready:

You’ll have to set up Fantasy Football accounts for each member of your family, which will ultimately create your “league.” You can easily share a single laptop with multiple tabs open with each team. However, if you have multiple devices, such as iPad or phones, that will be easier.

Now, it’s time for the snacks:

Let’s be real, one of the better parts of sporting events is the delicious food you get to eat during the game or match. So break out the buffalo chicken dip recipe, the pigs in the blanket recipe, or head over to Pinterest for more “game day snack” recipes to help keep your kiddos engaged and their tummies full!

Don’t forget to pick your names:

Like Charlene did, you can call each team by your own name if you choose! Or you can come up with something silly! Depending on how detailed you want to get with it is up to you!

How competitive are you:

If you have or come from a competitive family, maybe you do something to make it all a little more interesting! Sure, this is definitely all in good fun. But it could make it a little bit more interesting if you get chores involved! For example, in Fantasty Football, each week you go up against someone in your league. Who ever loses that week has to do a chore for the winner!

And at the very end, the ultimately winner could win a week free of chores! Now that sounds awesome!

Let’s get ready to RUMBLE:

Now that the accounts are made, the team names are picked, and the food is ready, it’s time to get this family Fantasy Football draft night started! All that is left to do is enjoy and have fun!

As Charlene revealed, “The family draft was actually really!” The mom said that her two kiddos “were so excited
they yelled everytime it was their pick! I definitely recommend doing a family one! I obviously don’t like football too much if ya can’t tell but it makes it fun to watch if you have something to watch for!”

How many of you are going to give family Fantasy Football night a try?
