Despite retiring from professional football in 2016, former Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has proven that he still has the moves.
M6 Sports‘ virtual reality quarterback simulator is an emerging technology that is described as “America’s fastest-growing QB training.” The game supposedly readies athletes for the college recruitment process by putting players in “next level situations” and “training like they play.”
Of course, there is no better way to test if this description is accurate than having a famous retired quarterback try it out. When Manning stepped up to give it a go, he ended up giving it the seal of approval.
The Hall of Famer had the chance to test out his arm and throw the ball around in an enclosed testing area. Showing the world that his impressive talents on the field have not diminished since his retirement, the former quarterback threw a touchdown within a short 30-seconds.

While he has proven to the world that his talents are not to be undermined, the eldest Manning brother continues his retirement from football alongside his younger brother, Eli. Together, they host a Monday Night Football telecast in which they analyze NFL games.

Peyton has also come forward with his thoughts on the recent passing of historic NFL figure, John Madden. “It was an honor and a privilege to know Coach Madden, and my thoughts and prayers are with his family,” the quarterback offered in a statement posted on social media. “I always appreciated his friendship and support of my football career. There will never be another like him. May God’s peace be with his family. Rest in peace, Coach Madden,” he continued.
“I always enjoyed production meetings talking football with him. Even after he stopped broadcasting, he and I stayed in touch,” he included.
Manning also shared the sentiment, “I had a special conversation with him on the day I found out I was being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I called just a few special people and John Madden was one of them. We had a great, long conversation. I always appreciated his friendship and support of my football career.”
In addition, the ex-Indianapolis Colts player reflected on a game against eh Cwobyos, in which Coach Madden recognized his talents on the field. “We won the game that day, and John Madden said, ‘The Colts are on their way.’ It’s one thing for a fan to say, ‘The Colts are on their way.’ When John Madden says that, that meant something,” he recalled.
