Grete made her own post in celebration of the exciting news. In the caption of her Instagram post, she shared, “THE GRAND FINALE!!!! Pregnant with baby #3 and we are soon to be a family of 6! So much love my heart can explode.”

She went on to pose the question, “Do you guys think it will be a boy or a girl?”

The pair got engaged in May of 2017 and after only two months of engagement, Grete gave birth to their first child. A year later, the powerhouse couple married in Miami. “First name Grete, Last name Griffin. All I ever wanted to be for you is your hero. It turns out that all along, you were mine,” the father wrote at the time of the wedding.

Will Robert Griffin III return to the NFL? The athlete says he’s prepared to play again

The news of Grete’s pregnancy came just one day after the father announced he would be joining the cast of Monday Night Countdown, replacing Randy Moss in the Monday Night Football pregame coverage.

“Loved being on stage with Randy last season. He has always been gracious with his time and knowledge of the industry. Thankful for him and this opportunity,” Griffin said, paying homage to Moss. He added the sentiments, “God’s plan is always the best. Some of the steps along the way will be painful and test you. But without a test there can be no testimony. Trust God.”

Despite his new gig with ESPN, the NFL free agent reported to KWTX News 10 in Waco, Texas that he would be happy to play for a team if given the chance. “I am ready to go right now. I train every day. I throw and work out. I know what it takes to get my body ready and I am doing those things,” he explained.

“Yes, it is a little bit tougher when you are flying around everywhere doing stuff for TV, but when you really want something, you make it work. So, if I get that call this year, next year, or five years from now I will be ready to play.”
