Russell Wilson Does Exactly What He Should Have Done on a Date With His Wife After Learning She Is Pregnant

As fans of Seattle Seahawk quarterback Russell Wilson already know, he and his wife, pop star Ciara, are pregnant with their second child together. The couple already has a little girl named Sienna, and Wilson is also a stepfather to her oldest son, Future.

Now, the couple is anxiously awaiting the birth of their little boy, who is due sometime in July. However, in an interview with Kevin Hart on an episode of Cold Calls, Wilson shared a memory from back when he first learned his wife was pregnant again.

While talking with Hart, whose wife, Nikko, is also pregnant, the comedian joked that things “have been getting snippy over here,” adding that he’s “sick” of Nikko using the “pregnancy card” for things. And that’s when Wilson responded with a story of his own.

“Ci told me early on. She was two months pregnant. It was Friday night, date night, so we’re trying to come home the right way,” the quarterback said cheekily. “I’m getting all dressed up, ready, and prepared. She says, ‘I’m gonna wear my Uggs.’ And then she says, ‘My feet hurt.’ And I wanted to finish the night strong so I said, ‘You know what? I’m gonna rub your feet for the rest of the night.'”

Men, boys, gentlemen, take notes because this is exactly how one should react when your pregnant wife tells you her feet hurt even when you’re trying to get out the door for date night. Even Hart admitted that maybe he needs to “change it up” a bit and be more romantic, and Wilson agreed.

Wilson also talked about what it’s been like expecting a child during COVID-19 and beyond. “We’ve been going to these doctor’s appointments and I can’t even go in the room sometimes just ’cause of the whole process, so that’s been interesting.”
