Multiple Reports Out On Status Of Tom Brady’s Offseason Knee Surgery
Tom Brady. Super Bowls. Those two seem to be synonymous, at least over the past two decades. Brady has now added yet another Super Bowl to add to his already accomplished resume.

It hasn’t always been easy, though, for number-12 as he’s had to overcome some challenges. Brady was passed over by all NFL teams not-named-the-Patriots being drafted in the sixth round in 2000, then earned a starting role when the opportunity was given. You know what happens next.
Seven Super Bowls later, chalk up another challenge that Brady reportedly is going through right now after winning the big game with the Bucs.
According to the Tampa Bay Times: “Brady…will need a minor surgical procedure for what Bruce Arians called ‘a cleanup’ sometime during the offseason. It’s the same knee where Brady suffered a torn ACL in 2010.”
Brady “wore a compression sleeve on his left knee during the Bucs’ boat parade” according to the Tampa Bay Times.
But, according to the Boston Globe’s Ben Volin, a source told him: “Brady’s injured left knee…needs more than just a little clean-up. ‘When it comes out, all this does is build his legend even greater.'”.
And, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero: “Brady played most of the season with some discomfort in the knee he’ll have cleaned up with surgery soon, per source.”
Very interesting. If that’s the case, then that means Brady was playing on a hurt knee the whole time while chucking dimes! Three touchdowns and for 201 throwing yards to be exact. And for the regular season, 4,633 throwing yards and 40 touchdowns.
This comes after what was a challenging NFL season for everyone involved (not to mention off-the-field the whole world going through tremendous adversity). The pandemic hit home last year for Brady as his “parents both battled COVID-19” according to ESPN as Brady’s dad talked to ESPN’s Mike Greenberg. Thankfully, it seems they have recovered well as Brady’s dad told said to Greenberg: “We’re healthy, we’re happy and everything is good” per ESPN.
