Tom Brady's Ex Shares Her Thoughts on His 40 Day Retirement

NFL legend Tom Brady announced his retirement from football in early February, but some speculate that the quarterback won’t be able to stay off the field.

Although the seven-time Super Bowl Champion admitted to Jim Gray on his “Let’s Go!” podcast that “you never say never” in regards to continuing his career, his most recent commentary has fueled the fire of hypothesizing, many fans now believing he will be making a comeback. 

During his appearance on Sirius XM radio, the host posed a loaded question at the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback. When asked “Maybe you can tell us where you’re going?”, Brady’s vague demeanor is leading many to question whether or not he will be able to be content as a retired athlete. 

“I tell you, I wish I had a clear vision of what the future holds,” the 44-year-old responded. “I think for me, there’s a lot of great things and a lot of great opportunities that I know I said right after football season. I was looking forward to spending time with my family. And I’ve done that the last five weeks.”

Brady even admitted that he will be going to see his parents as a means of staying active. “I like staying busy, that’s for sure. I played a little bit of golf and I’m actually gonna see my parents tonight, which will be a real highlight for me on their turf,” he shared.

But, how long is it until the golf games become tedious?

Multiple NFL teams continue to voice interest in Tom Brady as a player

Some people believe, such as Brady’s former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians, isn’t the type of guy to “slam” the door shut on making a return to the NFL, according to multiple news outlets. The Florida-based team also communicated that if Brady was to return, they would “leave the light on” for him.

In addition, the Miami Dolphins have reportedly conveyed interest in the athlete as a quarterback or a partial team owner. 

However, until Brady himself expresses a desire to put back on the shoulder pads, this will remain speculation. 

Continuing his radio interview, the Hall of Famer shared that he still is excited about the future of his retirement. “[I’m] looking forward to that, looking forward to some golf in the next few days and some more family time, and then we’ll figure out where we go from there,” he said.
