When you talk about essential workers, you have to count parenting as really one of the most essential workers on this earth. Shout out to all the parents out there who have been showing their constant love and support, especially through 2020.

And shout out to the fathers who make it a point to spend quality time with their children. Fatherhood is obviously essential, as well. To help raise up the next generation, giving a positive male influence in kids’ lives.

Count Kijuan Tucker as one of those dads who’s making it a point to spend quality time with his daughter, raising and training his child. In this case, literally training her. Boxing training, that is.

That’s right Tucker’s daughter, Ruby, is seven years-old and is being trained by her father who started up a boxing club.

Good for this father-daughter duo. Not only is Ruby learning self-defense techniques, you might as well call her a potential future Olympian. Especially with the way she’s already throwing those punches.

In December, Tucker said Ruby had her “1st ever sparring match against a kid her age and I wish yall could’ve seen it my baby was so scared before the match but MOST importantly she trusted me enough to express her fear and for me to guide her through it I’ve never been more proud as a father, PURE happiness I ain’t even gone hold yall…7yrs old”.

Already sparring at seven-years-old. The future is bright for Ruby!

And for Kijuan, it’s more than just boxing. In his Instagram bio, he says: “Proud father

And Kijuan would also like you to know: “If you’re a deadbeat dad don’t follow me

As this father-daughter duo continues to train, Kijuan is counting his blessings, recognizing that (per one of his Instagram posts) it’s “another day another blessing.”
