Alex Morgan Scores First Goal With Tottenham Hotspur Women Team Across The Pond
US Women’s National Team forward Alex Morgan is currently playing across the pond with the Tottenham Hotspur Women’s club in England.
And on December 6, with limited fans allowed in attendance per the team, Morgan scored her first goal as a Tottenham Hotspur player.
The goal was a penalty pick and Barclays FA Women’s Super League described it as: “The moment we’ve all been waiting for!”
That goal in the 84th minute helped put her team up 3-1 and that’s the score they’d hold and win with, beating Brighton & Hove Albion.
Morgan retweeted her team’s post on Morgan scoring her first Tottenham Hotspur goal.
“That was fun,” Morgan said. “Let’s do it again next Sunday.”
Next Sunday is a Tottenham match against Aston Villa. We’ll see if she can score another one in this match, as well, to get her second goal with the club across the pond.
