The NFL player continues to prep with his team for the sporting event of the year. This Bowl will be exciting for a number of reasons, one of them being the father is expected to face off against his brother Travis, who plays tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.

While he is preparing for the match, he also has to prepare for the very real possibility of his wife going into labor during the game. In order to accommodate this, his wife is inviting her OB-GYN in case she goes into labor.

“Kylie’s bringing her OB because she’s going to be 38 weeks pregnant at the game,” Jason announced during the Feb. 1 episode of the “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce” podcast that he hosts with his brother. “That could be a super Kelce bowl. If she has a baby in the stadium, it’s officially scripted.”

Jason and Travis both have one Super Bowl under their belts, and whoever takes home the title is surely excited to rub it in the other person’s face. Yet, their mother, Donna is, refusing to pick a side.

Donna Kelce discusses having two sons face off in the Super Bowl

“They’ve already got the first win under their belts, so this is just going to be pure joy,” Donna told TODAY in an interview in early February. “We’re going to really enjoy this, have a great time. Obviously, there’s going to be somebody that’s going to go home heartbroken.”

She then emphasized the sentiments, “They won’t have the bragging rights at the Thanksgiving table, but this is going to be an awesome event, and I’m really looking forward to it.”

Despite Donna’s claim that no child will be allowed to brag during family dinners, Jason has made it clear that he hopes to defeat his brother.

“It’s an incredible moment for me and our family,” he said at Super Bowl LVII Opening Night. “Whoever wins this one is going to have the ultimate bragging rights. We’re always rooting for each other, I always want him to do well, but I would sure love to have this one over his head and have at least something over top of Trav.”
