JuJu Smith-Schuster Say He ‘Always Got to Be Ready’ With Touchdown Celebration Dances

With 17 catches for 190 yards and 3 receiving touchdowns already this year, Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster knows how to celebrate in the endzone. And lately, he’s taken a page from the popular app known as TikTok.

If you don’t know what TikTok is, it’s a video-based app where people are known to share not only humorous skits, but also unique dances that have taken the world by storm. And now, thanks to Smith-Schuster, the dances have infiltrated the NFL as well.

And like any good teammate, the wide receiver gets his team involved in the celebrations too:

As the above video he shared on his Instagram feed shows, Steelers receiver Diontae Johnson and tight end Eric Ebron have enjoyed it. This particular celebration came when he caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger against the New York Giants on this season’s debut of Monday Night Football.

But, that’s not all! As Smith-Schuster admitted, his celebratory dances take practice! Practice, you talkin’ about practice?! Yes, practice, even with dance moves.

“Always got to be ready …” Smith-Schuster said in a post.

At home against the Houston Texans, he took to his Instagram account to share a video of him practicing and acting out the dance move he would perform after he scored. Again, getting his teammates Ebron and fellow wideout Chase Claypool, and more involved.

Smith-Schuster then asked his fans to rate the celebration 1 to 10. What would you rank it?

The Steelers would rank their season a ’10’ so far as they have started out 4-0, the first time the organization has done so since the 70s. And Smith-Schuster and the team are having fun winning, scoring touchdowns, and performing celebratory dances.
