Kevin Durant has always had a strong social media presence – mostly on Twitter – but the Brooklyn Nets’ forward recently added TikTok to his arsenal. If his videos are anything like his tweets, you can expect a lot of hot takes, defensive stances, and controversy from this account.
Durant joined the social media platform on Friday with the username ‘2way3level.’ By Saturday morning, he already had over 67,000 followers – a number that currently sits above 700,000. He didn’t waste any time publishing a seven-second video of him asking, “Yo, how I work this sh*t?”
In four days, that video has accumulated over 9.5 million views and almost two million likes – that’s more views and likes than I’ve received in my whole life. He hasn’t posted anything since, but I’m pretty sure we can expect to see more of Kevin Durant on TikTok in the near future.

What’s Next for Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets?
While Kevin Durant joining TikTok has garnered a lot of attention as of late, it’s far from the only headline he has made this offseason. Just one month ago, Durant requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets, sending the entire NBA community into sudden chaos – as he normally does.
Since then, several teams have emerged as potential suitors for the ‘2way3level’ player – including the Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, and Toronto Raptors. Of course, there’s still a chance he remains with the Nets, at least until the team finds a worthy deal.
