LeBron Caught Cruisin’ On A LA Highway In Rare, Limited-Edition Convertible

LeBron James is coming off a NBA championship-winning bubble experience, helping lead the Lakers to another title. It was a difficult road for so many this year, including James and NBA players who were in the bubble for months not being able to be near friends or family.

Yet, that road for James and his team led them to a Larry O’Brien trophy. James drove to the basket multiple times in the bubble and was recently seen literally driving on a highway road in LA, known as the 405 per Yahoo News.

James spotted he was being seen and threw up the ‘hang loose’ sign to show love to what appeared to be Lakers fans.

After the ‘hang loose’ gesture, it gave those filming a chuckle and James drove by, as those in the car filming this were in the carpool lane.

According to Yahoo News, the car James was driving in is “a black Porsche 918 Spyder convertible, a limited-production plug-in hybrid sports car. It started production in 2013 at $845,000 and ceased in 2015.”

James must’ve enjoyed this because on his Instagram story, he reposted Complex’s post of it:

With four moving quickly emoji’s, it looks like James knows exactly what kind of car he was rolling in.

Per Motortrend, “at California Speedway, the car will break Motor Trend‘s 0-60-mph record and easily eclipse our long list of figure-eight times”.

The road to the NBA Finals may be a tough, grueling, long-winding journey. But, to get to practice or wherever James was going on this particular day, let’s just say it must’ve just been quick to get from point A to B with a car like that.
