“Not the news you want to hear but can’t thank y’all enough for the love,” Garrett said on an Instagram post. “This continues to affect us all in so many ways, but we’ll get through it together. Be back soon, Dawg Pound…”

The “new reserve list category was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or person” per the Vikings explaining what the list is for.

And the Browns fans, aka the “dawg pound”, are ready for Garrett to be back. A few of the comments on Garrett’s post said:

“Cleveland loves and has your back get well”.

“Get well soon”.

“Minor setback for a major comeback”.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski also doesn’t want to be without Garrett.

“Yeah, he is a good player,” said Stefanski per ESPN. “We know that. We do not want to be without him, but we are. And I promise you the guys will be ready to go.”

In nine games, Garrett already had 31 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and 9.5 sacks.

Sometimes, no matter what adversity you go through, you just have to find a reason to count your blessings and smile even if it’s a little reason. Because as Garrett said in a previous post: “Smiles are infectious, so is love”.

And in what’s been such a trying year, we can all get through this together. Starting with prayers, hope, and a smile.
