WNBA’s Sabrina Ionescu Visits With Former Mentor Kobe Bryants Family Creates Hilarious Tik Tok With Two of His Daughters
In March, Sabrina Ionescu was selected as the number one overall draft pick during the WNBA’s first-ever virtual draft. Not only was she one of the stars of Oregon’s Women’s Basketball team, but her mentor was none other than the late Kobe Bryant.
In fact, the young athlete had become so close with the Bryant family that Kobe’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, even asked her to speak at his public funeral. And even since Kobe and Gianna’s tragic passings, Ionescu has remained close with Vanessa, and their three surviving daughters, Natalia, Bianca, and Koko.

And during her most recent visit with the Bryants, Ionescu, Natalia, and Bianca all collaborated together on a Tik Tok. And just like the last time, Bianca completely stole the show.

In the comments section of Ionescu’s Tik Tok, several commenters noted how good it was to see Natalia and Bianca with smiles on their faces. “Feels good to see them smiling and having fun,” one person wrote.
“Blessing to see them smile,” another added. “I know how it feels when you’re around people you enjoy the moments with laughter. When you’re alone you go back to your thoughts.”
Shortly after Kobe and Gigi’s passing, the basketball player took to Instagram to share a few beautiful about her late mentor. “I miss you guys more than I could ever put into words,” she wrote in part.
“You will forever live through me, and be watching over me every step of the way because you have the best seat in the house. I can still hear you telling me, ‘Sab, real sharpness comes without effort,’ and that’s a voice I will never forget. Love you, boss. Always.”
If and when the WNBA returns following COVID-19 restrictions, Ionescu will be sporting a New York Liberty Uniform.
