MLB Superstar, Bryce Harper, Gets Heated Mid-Game, Leads to Ejection

This year, the main trade deadline story lies in the NL West. The NL West has been a strange division all season, with the Dodgers being way out in front, the Diamondbacks behind, and the Rockies, Padres, and Giants battling for 2nd place. In this strange, shortened season, 2nd place in a division is valuable, as it qualifies you for the playoffs. In such a contested division, it is not surprising one of the teams would want to make some moves, and secure 2nd place.
Tensions were high during the second game of a doubleheader between the Chicago Cubs and the Cincinnati Reds, and for the first time this season, both managers were ejected from the game.
No one expected the San Francisco Giants to be good this year. Ever since their three World Series Championships, the Giants have been in the bottom of their division, reluctant to rebuild, but struggling with older players. At the beginning of the season, they lived up to their low expectations. The Giants started out the season with an 8-16 record, which was not very surprising, but over the past week, they have gone on a 7 game win streak, and are now 15-16, and nearing a .500 winning percentage.
Toronto Raptors star guard, Kyle Lowry, sprained his ankle Saturday early in the game against the Nets. He hurt himself by stepping on the foot of Nets guard Chris Chiozza around midway through the first quarter. The Raptors called a timeout to check on Lowry, and he was cleared to return to play, however, following only one possession, he committed a foul and exited the game. Instead of returning to the bench, he went straight to the locker room, signaling something was wrong.
Washington Nationals employee, Jazhiel Morel, was fired Saturday after a video surfaced of him throwing coffee in a woman’s face.

The 2020 MLB season has been very entertaining thus far, but also somewhat of a COVID disaster. Already both the Miami Marlins and the St. Lous Cardinals have had multiple games suspended due to COVID outbreaks on their teams, and now the Cincinnati Reds are joining them.
